44+ years I have travelled as a professional musician. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world. I found this small motel last minute out of necessity. I honestly love this place. The room is clean. The decor is very interesting...not "ritzy," but very nice. The people are very nice and accommodating. The room looked just like the online photo. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We stayed here on our way back from Colorado and it was perfect. They accepted our service dog and were the nicest people.

We loved staying here! They are super responsive to their phone calls, they answered every single time we called them 24/7. Reservation, check in, and check out were a piece of cake. We never even needed to stop by the office as they sent us a text with the information we need to check into our room, and when we called them to check out, they said that while they appreciate a courtesy call it is not needed. Our flight was cancelled and we had to postpone it a full day and they fully refunded us for the night that we couldn't make it. Room is very cozy and clean. The heating is excellent. We used the micorwave, fridge, and tv and they were all great. Tv had a lot more channel options than we expected! Plenty of parking. Location is great with a restaurant across the parking lot, a market and a gift shop right down the street. You will also get to meet cute deers on your way if you want to walk around the area! Excellent price as well.
I came across this motel due to work . Cause of my line of work I stay in hotels more then I like to admit. This motel is the cleanest I have been in ,in a very long time . The rooms are so cute and put together very well .. the staff is amazing . Chris the front desk employee is the nicest and accommodating person I have had the pleasure of meeting . The motel maids my hat is off to you .. the rooms were so clean ..I appreciate you guys so a big thank you goes to you guys.. if you are in the area and looking for a place to stay DO NOT PASS SMOKEY BEAR MOTEL up you'll be impressed like me
We stayed here one night during a road trip and the check in and out process was so simple and convenient as our travel times were slightly fluid. The room was adorable. My only caveat would be if you’re sensitive to Christian propaganda this may not be the place to stop. Otherwise though it was a clean and comfortable little location.
We loved our stay in this updated-but-nostalgic roadside motel. Next to a great diner and walking distance to the Smokey Bear Historic Park. The room was very clean and very quiet. The bed was great and the shower had plenty of hot water. To top things off, the owners are awesome.
Woke up at 4am to someone slamming their door open and shut for about 5-10 minutes, personally I thought it was quite funny and I had a couple of good laughs in because it wouldn’t stop, then I heard a lady yell that she was going to bring out her gun!! Don’t know how she was gonna tell that person to stop closing their door by pointing a gun at em! But overall a very good experience and this is exactly what I look for in a motel! Classic motel experience!
